Energy Innovation Agency attend and exhibit at Innovation Zero congress

The Energy Innovation Agency attended and exhibited at the two-day climate and cleantech Innovation Zero event at Kensington Olympia on May 24th and 25th, with Green Economy. The event was extremely productive for the Agency, with interest from a great many engaged innovators and start-up organisations, alongside those offering complementary services such as investors, financiers and IP consultants. There was a real feeling among the attendees and exhibitors that we’ve moved beyond just simply talking about the problem of reaching Net-Zero with a big focus on how innovation increasingly plays a part in a decarbonised world!
The Agency received a lot of interest from innovators, both national and international, who were keen to understand more about our offer and to share and engage about how their business is working to support Net-Zero. We also received interest from Government departments, organisations, and others keen to learn more about our work, objectives and partners, it really felt like an inclusive and fully collaborative event.
The Innovation Zero event was a fantastic opportunity for us to really showcase our service and how we can support innovators get the solutions to market. We had an overwhelming response on the day, with some really positive conversations which will hopefully develop into meaningful relationships in the future. It was great to hear that our support around overcoming barriers to commercialisation, and connecting innovators with their target markets, resonated so well with the businesses at the event. We are looking forward to hearing about next year’s event already!
We will definitely be returning to Innovation Zero in 2024, as both an exhibitor and to contribute to the forums and presentations.
