Cut Carbon, Save Costs – Agency hosts free webinar for SMEs

SMEs account for around 99% of the UK business population and as such have a vital role to play in sustainability and reaching climate change targets.
The Energy Innovation Agency is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday 6 December, 11.00am - 12.00pm, for SMEs that want to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings but aren’t sure where to start.
The webinar will explore some of the key areas in which low-cost, easy to implement, energy efficient changes could be made which could help businesses perform more efficiently, reduce costs and contribute positively to carbon neutral goals. There will also be details of funding available through the Energy Accelerator project to support businesses in introducing some of the latest innovative technologies.
Green technology innovators measurable.energy and DiscreteHeat will join the session to introduce their solutions.
DiscreteHeat will talk about their ThermaSkirt technology which combines heating and skirting into one cost-effective, space-saving and energy efficient package, and measurable.energy will explain how their machine learning-powered plug sockets can identify and eliminate the small power waste of devices.
